Our AI Art 101 interactive demo booth @ Maker Faire Orlando!

We kicked things off with a demo booth at the Maker Faire Orlando this weekend, where we showed folks how to get into AI art themselves.

Hundreds of people came through our booth, and we collectively generated about 2,800 AI images throughout the day.

We had young kids, older kids, and adult kids alike – some with previous experience, some with no AI experience, and a small handful who taught us a few tricks!

We used OpenAI to let people get experience with Dall-E, and it seemed like everyone had a great time!

VIP Maker Fundraiser – Silent Auction!

We stayed after hours the first day of the Maker Faire for a VIP maker fundraiser dinner, and it was a blast!

We donated a custom AI art book, which is the same as one of our $500 rewards – and it turned into a small bidding war!

All of the proceeds went directly to The Maker Effect Foundation, a local 501(c)3 – their mission is to activate and amplify the efforts of makers as they learn, build and work together in their communities.
