STORY & MISSION

Our owner has been involved in the Maker Movement since 2012, and has had electronics inventions homepage'd and featured on Instructables. He has tinkered with DIY alien electronic windchimes, super hydrophobic electronic music drum pads, junk robots, and a Stranger Things cardboard LED wall powered by RaspberryPi + Python, among other creations.

We have been involved in art and image software since the 1990s, and have experience with fractal image explorers and all kinds of obscure and fun things.

We have been following AI art since it was early in development, and are passionate about showing others how to get involved + co-learning about things like AI tech and methods, traditional art history, and various art techniques along the way.

MachineLearningArt.com aims to provide a monthly themed AI art book based around wacky, obscure, and oddball topics. Additionally, future goals include upgrading the website so that other AI artists can sell their art work and products, an AI art learning center, and tools like text prompt random generators that AI artists and AI art hobbyists can use to generate unique images.

JAMES BROYLES

I have been involved in the Maker Movement since 2012. Mad engineer*, junkbot enthusiast, and DIY hobbyist across multiple interests. As a jack-of-some-trades, most of my projects are rough around the edges and many last long enough to demo a spectacle before falling apart at the seams. I’m on Thingiverse with some rookie and goofy 3d models, I have been homepage’d a couple times on Instructables for MaKey MaKey projects, and I made my own Stranger Things cardboard LED wall with a RaspberryPi and Python.

I recently built my own website at MachineLearningArt.com where I want to sell art books, curate AI art resources for others, and eventually make it so that others can sell their own AI art. Join me as I fuddle my way through using AI art generators, and let’s see what we can figure out together!
